First Sergeant Carwood Lipton is his name. He received a battlefield commission, promoting him to lieutenant. Donnie Wahlberg is a terrific actor. Lt. Ronald Speirs actually did that run - he’s legendary among the 101st. Both Joe Toye and Bill Guarnere lost their legs and were sent State-side. Skip Muck and Alex Penkala were killed in their foxhole when they received a direct hit from German artillery.

They immensely improved the quality of the show with these two episodes and really made you care for the characters. I only wish they made more of a point how young they all were; Winters and Nixon were 27, Compton was 24, Guarnere was 21 when he lost his leg... It's very easy to forget. Donnie Wahlberg is Mark Wahlberg's older brother, that's why you thought of him when seeing his name. Also, I think you forgot to upload full length to episode 6, please do when you have the time :)
