Guys, you really should just upload the unblurred versions. AfterWorkReactions has hundreds more patrons than you and has been uploading full unblurred reactions of whole movies to Google Drive and OneHub for months and months. Other Patreon channels do the same, including Ashleigh Burton. There's no risk and it'd increase your patron numbers. Having to sync is annoying and it never quite works.

Dr. Warren wasn't a priest, was he? I guess he was staying at the church because he thought he'd be safe there. I was going to say if he WAS a priest, he didn't have enough faith in God if he was so scared at the railyard.

The jackal that was buried was Damien's mother, so while it was a "sacrifice" because the jackal died, that's the main reason it was there. At one point in the first film, it's stated "the anti-christ is born of a jackal" or something to that effect.

While I think of it, I'd add my voice to those recommending you check out Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) at some point. It's a really atmospheric and original story. It doesn't feature Michael Myers and was intended to use the Halloween brand to introduce original horror stories. They ended up ditching the idea and returning to the Michael Myers format for Halloween 4 instead, but that third, standalone movie remains a fascinating gem that has many admirers.

If anyone wants to watch along, (I'm going to, but my DVD set is packed away in storage) Damien: Omen II & Omen III: The Final Conflict are on Disney+. Oddly, I can't seem to find the original film streaming anywhere, but there's a decent copy on YouTube
