Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend. It’s been a mad couple of weeks for me here at work covering as Store Manager (giving me a little insight into my future!!) and as I write this I am ending a 30 hour weekend and enjoying a snow filled bus ride home.
I did manage to get the next episode filmed last night/this morning (you’ll understand that when you see the video… technology literally hates me right now) - I will try and get it edited tonight and uploaded tomorrow. But let me TELL you episode 5 had my jaw on the floor.
I am working on the upcoming schedule for videos and it looks like Young Royals will take us to the end of the year… but after that, what would you like to be the next series? Comment down below your top choice ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Watched this a couple of times now(already having withdrawal symptoms from Young Royals and it took me ages to stop having them with Heartstopper too) and it’s a great interview but just wish it had been a bit longer! I guess on shows like Jimmy Fallon, you just get a 10 minute slice of air time. Ah well, back to watching season 1 all over again, then…😏

I have been immersed in all the readings Ruth recommended me and I'm loving it. And hell yeah! A Young Royals Survivors Club is a must! Hopefully a way to get ready for season 3 as well. Fingers crossed!

2022-12-12 09:57:52 +0000 UTCStill wrestling with Egyptian wi-fi, but it’s now decided that it’s not going to work unless the planets are favourably aligned and then only if I am the only person trying to use it. 😂 So here I am, when everyone else is eating breakfast or at the pool. I am neutral about which shows you should react to once Young Royals is finished, because I don’t know much about the ones that people have recommended. Whatever you decide is fine with me. Regarding episode 5 and indeed, the finale, I really cannot wait to see your face! Jaw-dropping is an understatement. I may need a gin myself to re-watch it with you. In an earlier post, I suggested that if we all make it to the end of the season relatively intact, we should start a Young Royals Survivors Club. I think you should definitely be the founder member, Jackie, as these two last episodes are going to take your emotions to places other shows cannot reach- not even Heartstopper ❤️ Love from Egypt and after tomorrow, back to the freezing UK. 🥰🥶

2022-12-12 07:21:55 +0000 UTCSkam Norway is excellent and interesting as it when it was aired originally it was in clip form through the week with the clips dropping at the day and time it would show on the screen the clip was supposed to be. For example if the clip would have Friday 10pm at the start of the clip it would drop at this time. The clips would be then put together as a weekly episode for NRK the Norwegian TV channel. There would also be text messages between the characters and social media posts from the characters released over the week. In series four some of the characters have you tube videos that you can watch. The series has a really good natural quality to it and each series focuses on a different character which means you see the others from thier point of view which means they can appear slightly different in each series. They cover some interesting topics and some of the episodes are really short. If you decide to watch it I can send you the link to the tumbler page with all the text and social media posts. This also has links to the episodes on daily motion.

2022-12-11 23:10:43 +0000 UTCHi Lane - yes, I've already highly recommended SKAM to Jackie and he mentioned that he would look into it. Unusually, it's not a Netflix production. The production team were completely taken aback by the massive response that it received after release in 2015 and also, as they weren't expecting it to do so well, the creator hadn't taken out the music copyright for any other countries apart from her native Norway. This created issues as the demand to see the series was massive worldwide (particularly season 3 apparently) and the result was that individual countries produced their own versions (different actors with different music but same storyline) of SKAM (Germany/France/ Italy/USA plus others). They bought the rights from the original Norwegian company to allow them to do that. Considering the series is now 7 years old, it was ground breaking at the time and surely paved the way for the likes of 'Young Royals' and 'Heartstopper' to be created. Needles to say, SKAM was awarded many accolades after its first release.

Can't wait to see the new video but what i have been waiting for since i watched it is your reaction to episode 6, will def need a drink when watching that one!!

2022-12-11 22:30:11 +0000 UTCI will always recommend the phenomenal “Skam,” particularly the third season, though the entire series is quite good. You can watch the third season by itself and make sense of it, but you get a good bit of backstory if you watch it from the beginning. I also highly recommend the Thai series “Bad Buddy,” which I am a great fan of. It’s quirky in the way that Thai series tend to be, but once you get used to those quirks it is a delight.
