2024-05-14 00:24:36 +0000 UTCTotally agree about Nicholas's voice. One of my favorite lines in this episode is: George: "Katherine is weird and dull." Mary: "Yes, but Rutland's rich and rich." And Katherine is perfect to support her George, just as Lady Somerset was backing her man.

She understands the assignment perfectly and because she knew him from when he was young George, she knows who he is under all the bravado. I feel she would be a great match for him. In this episode we can still see glimpses of the naive young man we got to know in the beginning but he is quickly learning how the world he operates in, works. He resents Mary's control over him but she has not guided him wrong. Mother knows best. 😃

2024-04-01 14:16:05 +0000 UTCtbh I don't think George is this amazing manipulator here that he is made out to be he merely reminds James of what he had wanted to do from the beginning (if George himself did not let himself get played by Raleigh). I think the point here is more the fact that George realizes that he has power (and what that power can do) and that James listens to him which I don't think he was aware beforehand.
