Love Young Royals. Am going to Stockholm this summer and I cant wait. I lost my husband in september last year and I have now sold my house. Seriously thinking of renting in Stockholm for six months this fall.... to get away from Oslo for a while....❤

Thank you for this video, it was lovely, and of course we all are sending you support, that is what the community built does!

First of all, I think “Little Shop” has a wonderful score, and “Somewhere That’s Green” is one of my favorite songs in it, probably along with “Suddenly Seymour.” The rendition of the song I mostly know is the original one by Ellen Greene, and I love that one very much. I understand that Sondheim had great praise for that score, and that says a lot. I’ve watched several of the videos accompanying “Young Royals,” but this is one I hadn’t seen, and it is fascinating to get Omar‘s take on those early scenes as well as the final one. Behind-the-scenes views are always fascinating to me, and nobody can deliver them in a more enjoyable way than someone who was a part of those scenes.

I love this video so much - thank you for doing a reaction! My personal take on Omar saying the final scene is a little cringe is that he says this to be aligned with Edvin, because it's what Edvin has said about the ending. Everyone knows how much YR has meant to Omar and how much he loves Simon and Wilmon. We saw how emotional he was filming this scene in the documentary and also how he tried to hide it by getting right into the car and waving off the cameras. We know from other interviews that he had a breakdown filming the final scene at the beach that wasn't allowed to be filmed by the doc crew. All this to say that I think Omar probably feels the same way most of us do about the last scene (that it's perfect) but doesn't want to seem more emotionally effected or invested than his co-star who he's looked to a lot for guidance through this whole process. So the "it's beautiful but a little cheesy" has become like the official statement about it from both of them. Just my own musings though, who actually knows!

Thank you for this video I loved watching it again with you. Omar did so much promotion for YR3 with Netflix. The series meant so much to him. I too hope that we see Omar act again he did make a Swedish horror film between S2 and S3 of YR but for now he is focusing on music as he recently signed his first deal with a US record company (Electra records part of Warner brothers). His first release with this company is out this month. Hopefully he will get more recognition now he has a US label. He made so many fun videos for Netflix while in LA for the Oscars. It was so good he got to attend the Oscars and was on a lot of best dressed lists. I had hoped he would get Invited to the Met gala but it doesn't look like that will happen. Maybe he could be an interval performer at Eurovision.

Ahah omar saying it’s cringe… I think you have to understand that in Sweden tragedy is like the highest form of art haha so having a happy ending with like the 360 kiss and him running after the car is very different for us 😂😂 but I loved every second of it and I was so happy with the ending

Good morning Jackie, it’s 5AM here in NY and this is a wonderful way to start the day watching with you. What a sweet video. Seeing the pride on Omar’s face is Beautiful. It was nice to hear you sing too. I love that things are coming together for you. The Support that you felt this past week is the same type of support that many of us feel that you provide through watching your videos. Please don’t feel pressured to put extra videos out. Get things sorted out and the other things will come about. Thank you and big hugs to you.

This was a lovely surprise to wake up to, thank you for doing this and showing us what Omar thought of his first and last moments on set and how different they were 😊

Audrey Gunn

This is amazing, Jackie. Thank you <3 I love watching with you <3 Maybe you could react to some of Omars music - live music from his concert or another performance? He is amazing. If you want suggestions, let me know :0) <3

IAmom

Ohhh this is nice 🥹

This and other videos like it were recorded I LA when Omar was there for the Oscars. It was so cool that he got invited.

Yes yes do more!

It was a beautiful final scene, but Scandinavians will tend to say it's a bit cringe, as there is a greater tradition of depicting the sad or tragic. I believe Edvin mentioned it in an interview that they were up against the Swedish heritage from Strindberg etc.

Anna

The way he’s like “I’ve only watched it once” Yeah Omar….can’t relate 😂

Frances

One of my favorite YR3 interviews 💜 And the way he talks about Edvin melts my heart 🥰😍
