We are back today revisiting Heartstopper season 3 and I can't lie... I find this episode kind of hard to watch. But there are still so many moments I adore!!

2024-09-02 02:58:01 +0000 UTCNot gonna lie … now that I’ve seen it multiple times, I usually fast forward thru the Tao/Elle scenes, cuz I hate how uncomfortable they are. And I do hate that Nick is feeling so much pressure …. But I adore his & Charlie’s interaction at the end of the episode. So agreed, one of my least favorite episodes for sure, but it still has one of my very favorite scenes. Also love the rugby scenes at the beginning!

Though I love the little sequence right before Miss Singh caught N&C 🤭 And, I always adore their looks when they arrive at the GCSE party. Their outfits, the hair (especially Charlie’s fluffy curls 🥰). They all look very cute in that episode!

I don’t have any experience with it myself, but it’s one of those things that I know what it’s called. This is a darker episode, but even in some of the darker parts of it there is definitely humor. Even though the date between Tao and Elle is catastrophic, there are parts of it that are awkwardly funny as well. I’ve probably said this before, but I’m with Elle as far as the movie goes. Moonlight Kingdom is pretty much my favorite Wes Anderson movie, and I’m definitely a Wes Anderson fan. And the shot of them sitting in the movie theater is definitely a Wes Anderson-style shot. (The enormous popcorn boxes are pretty funny, too.) Also, I think this is the first time I have caught the “We’re running” line from Isaac. It’s also the first time I noticed that in the bonfire scene, both Nick and Charlie are wearing Vans shirts - very subtle product placement?
