Hello. Thanks a lot. I am also a formula 1 fan but mostly prefer the old types from 60s 70s and 80s.

Hello. I used flat clear varnish on PE it unifies and fixes color on the metal parts. Also, it prevents from color chipping.
I use contacta clear on small clear parts, but if you need to glue clear part strongly, you need to use some more aggressive glue like Mr cement s. And you need to apply glue carefully into the bond. Otherwise, you can destroy the clear part.

Hi David, nice job! I never tire of your builds that are very inspiring for me.
I noticed that you passed a varnish layer on the PE instument panel. Is it to get a mat rendering contrasting with the gloss of the instruments glass?
I also saw tha you used Mr Cement for the transparent canopy instead of Contacta clear. Aren't there any issue about this kind of glue and the transparent parts?

I don't build planes or tanks but I enjoy watching your videos. I can learn techniques from your artistry. I build race cars. If you want to do a F1 or Indycar build let me know. I will send you a kit, I have way more than I could ever build. I think you should promote your Patreon at the end of your videos. Nothing wrong with a little self promotion.
