Project Sound Souls Bestiary: Sin Warriors

Soul-Spawns, more formally known as Angels, are beings formed out of fragments of a powerful being's Soul, most commonly Gods, and are a living, sentient extension of that being's will. Those monstrosities come in many different shapes and many different levels of strength, from standard foot soldiers to eldritch beasts rivaling Gods. Different beings summon different types of fragment soldiers, of course, and those share traits and abilities of their makers. At times, Spawns embody an individual trait of their creator. Such is the case with the Sin Warriors, who are among the most common Spawns of Ruby Rose, the Third Demon God.

True to their name, Sin Warriors are beings who embody their creator's "Sins". They come in seven types, each one embodying a different Sin. There are also cases of beings known as "Lucky Sevens" who are a combination of all seven types, but these are far cry from the common Sin Warriors one would commonly encounter treading the Demon God's territory.

The first type of Sin Warriors are the Lunatics, who embody the Sin of Wrath. Those monsters seem to be large horned figures composed of charred rock, with radioactive magma holding the pieces together. Other than emitting Demonic Energy that causes their enemies to attack each other, Lunatics' main method of attacking is by throwing small pieces of rock that home on targets and then explode in a strong blast of brimstone and rock shrapnel, which can also be placed on the ground as landmines that create cross-shaped fire waves. The blast may generate shockwaves of rock and X-shaped bursts of irradiated fire, and the Lunatic would create a larger blinding explosion from its own body upon dying. They are also seemingly capable of resurrecting dead monsters and animals as mummies and their rock-hard skin can cause attacks to be deflected back at the ones who launched them.

The second type of Sin Warriors are the Lechers, who embody Lust. These monsters appear rather human, looking like voluptuous women with a pink skin and very revealing clothes if any, radiating Demonic Energy that makes others enamored with their beauty and the ability to cast an illusion that makes them appear like their individual victim's ideal model of beauty or a specific person they are attracted to, camouflage themselves or become invisible altogether. Lechers can control their hair like tendrils and possess flesh-tearing claws and fangs and leave a trail of poisonous blood on their wake, but their deadliest weapon is a barbed, scorpion-like tendril of flesh and bone protruding from their nether regions like a tail and is able to extend to slice and impale targets, as well as flail and block attacks, and even has the ability to rewrite the "data" of some creatures to convert them into more Lechers. Furthermore, they can use various drugs that can be used to enhance their physical attributes or generate poison, and rarely even have access to enchanted Tarot cards. They can survive decapitation and their heads and bodies can function independently, with their head either floating or turned into a spider-like creature, leaving a second trail of venom, and being capable of firing it in wide blasts.

The third type is known as a Hoarder, a personification of Greed. Hoarders possess three torsos posed back to back in a triangular formation, each torso having its own head, two arms, and a large golden mace. The Hoarder is superhumanly fast and capable of firing small homing orbs of energy in a cluster or large blood shots that split in four, and can summon Monster Flies and Spiders as well as Zombies made of decapitated corpses, heads, lumps of flesh and hopping brains - Which it can cause to self-destruct and launch numerous drops of blood at lethal speeds - and Eyewings who can fire lazers from their eyes, leave a trail of corrosive blood and burst in a splash of corrosive blood in death, and is capable of summoning and magnetizing items such as sacks of coins, bringing them to life and absorbing then to heal itself. It is also capable of summoning moving beams from the ground that can revive actual dead bodies, increasing and modifying the powers they had in life. Their maces can send out eruptions of rock and summon rock stalactites, and they are capable of using Materialization Magic to create and control sharp discs of gold, and upon dying, several of those are released from its body and attack nearby enemies. In addition, they are capable of merging and transforming their maces into a flying golden motorbike that can leave trails of slippery, highly flammable oil.

The fourth Sin Warrior class is known as Idlers, who embody Sloth. Those beings have the appearance of green, rotten cadavers with a horrible stench and an aura of fatigue that induces a lethargic state in targets and can even make them lose consciousness, and their bodies are capable of producing sticky tar and smoke that blurs the sight, even shaping it into weapons. The bodies of Idlers are infested with monstrous worms, ants, spiders and flies, and they are able to spit out organic globes that explode in a blast of acidic gas and leave a trail of this venom as they walk, and are also capable of vomiting Living Mass in several of its forms or launching their own intestines as tentacles to attack or restrain enemies before dragging and swallowing them. They are capable of surviving without a head and devouring regular animals to heal themselves and become stronger.

The fifth class of Sin Warriors is Cravens, who represent Envy. A Craven appears like a faceless humanoid made of a clay-like substance and emits a Demonic aura of bone-chilling fear. Their body is malleable and can change its size and shape, and they have a strong regenerative factor and leave behind a slippery trail of water. Whenever a Craven is cut or otherwise loses a piece of its body without said piece being destroyed, every individual part regenerates into a Craven; if the part is destroyed, it "pops" into small droplets flying at the speed and power of bullets, which some Cravens are also able to continuously fire out of their body directly. Multiple Cravens are also able to merge into a single, larger, stronger, faster and more sturdy Craven, which is also able to eject smaller Cravens from its body.

The sixth type is known as Gorger, manifestations of Gluttony. Gorgers have the appearance of bloated lumps of muck and filth with many large mouths on their massive stomachs and several worm-like tentacles with more mouths on them. Their sticky body is near-invulnerable due to its elasticity allowing it to absorb kinetic force and they leave a trail of lava at their wake. Their main method of attacking is by grabbing and biting others with their tentacles, but they are also able to cause powerful wind to pull people into their mouths and breathe homing streams of lava, torrents of flame or clusters of lava blobs. Despite their appearance, Gluttons are very agile and can roll like giant balls or jump far distances, cracking the earth upon landing. Their main mouths are able to create a strong pull of wind, and their body can sometimes be used as a symbiotic nest or incubator for Monster Ants, Monster Worms, Living Mass creatures and even Demons, which it can send out of its body, sometimes attached to umbilical cords.

The seventh and final Sin Warrior is known as a Monger, embodiments of Pride who channel both holy and unholy power. Mongers appear like horned skeletal mages with black bones that can surround their body with impenetrable scarfs similar to the Demon God Asura's. They are capable of throwing and controlling their own bones, which then explode in a blast of fire and shockwave of rock, and able to exist in multiple places at once, become insubstantial, create numerous afterimages, teleport and breathe cursed purple flames - which can then fire projectiles - and create a magnetic push that repels enemy attacks, and are also capable of astral projecting their soul into one or more spirit forms as well as duplicate themselves. Mongers can use magic to generate explosions at any point in their sight similar to the foiled Tower card and fire homing energy bullets, beams and invulnerable orbs that protect them and chase enemies, and are able to create homing air blades, summon ghosts as well as giant bony limbs that crush the ground, encase people in amber and create safes containing living creatures, slow down time, capture bullets in a telekinetic field and fire them back at enemies, summon traps and conjure flaming skulls that chase and disintegrate whole rows of enemies, throw a barrage of halo-like homing chakrams that cause pillars of holy light to strike the earth in their wake, cover an area in darkness, and summon and control sickles. They can fire bolts of lightning, create shields around themselves and their allies, sprout dark wings to fly and utilize a variation of the Geryon technique that allows them to grow four additional faces - one on each side of their head and one facing upwards - and rotate their head while each mouth breathes cursed flames in a deathly blazing fountain. In addition, some Mongers are capable of summoning paper and drawing weaker creatures upon it, which then come to life as living sketches and can potentially be "upgraded" into fully living entities.

These seven monsters born from a Demon God each embody a different trait, but that is not to say these "Sins" are mutually exclusive. In rare cases, much stronger Spawn will appear, who hold the power of all Sins combined, these are known as Lucky Sevens. But this is not the time nor the place to talk about such creatures; they are on a league all on their own.
