Stealth Behaviors Progress Update - Lean Mechanics

Hey guys! Sorry if I haven't been uploading major works lately, but with countless projects, collabs, and Unreal stuff I've been quite busy, but anyways, I wasn't totally inactive, here's something I've been trying to make while waiting for help on other stuff.

I've posted a while back about Stealth kills, Crawl Behaviors. And here's the latest feature I was able to add to this Stealth Edit.

After seeing and Enjoying the Transversal Behaviors by the Very Talented Everglaid, I thought to myself that implementing a lean and cover system was also possible. 

So I've been cooking up something that brings the lean system from modern games to skyrim. Now integrating that whole concept 1:1 will require a whole game overhaul so I have to synergize what we already have and what new things we can make

Right now the Behaviors are practically done, although I do apologize in this Vid regarding the animation quality, although rest assured the animations are all gonna be improved once we get a playable build, but I'll get on to that once the behaviors are polished.

What I plan to do is similar to the Transversal system where in there is already a set behavior in place and depending on World Maker Modders, certain objects that are toggled as Lean-able can be placed throughout the world


Currently I was able to restrict forward motion as well, although there is a problem with Edge detection; so a short explanation, a line trace which is a function that traces the actors location to a set point to limit the right vector needs to be implemented in the code which is not yet available, that is another thing I am looking up on and collabing with my friends on. 


Anyways apologies right now if all there is, is a presentation. But expect more to come soon! Also I'm really excited for My Unreal progress but I'll just showcase a demo once It's all ready! Thanks again everyone for supporting!

Hey Adri, I know this is a bit old, but I was wondering if we could get a private release for the WIP? I know you are hard at work with Project Impact, but I figured we could at least get a taste of this. Thank you for your time!

Hi Your work in bringing new mechanics to Skyrim is truly fantastic. With yours and Distar's work, I have been continually surprised at what is possible. Hopefully this is still under development and nearing completion, I can't wait for its release. Kind regards Liam

hit boxes shoudl work as is as in, whatever the mesh in front of the character takes the hit, that would depend on my animations tho so I have to adapt my animations to suit that.

Good to hear you have some of FFXII music in your playlist, its my favorite FF game with one of the best OST imo
