This world is new, unlike anything I've ever seen.

But to survive this new stage, I'll have to adapt.

Soundtrack: Distant Winds

Two obsidian black creatures were running below the cliff. They were covered in spikes and white markings, and had long scorpion-like tails. And they were hungry.

They escaped a few days ago, and didn't have a good meal since.

They saw something flickering in the air, not far from their location. It was a rune.

Another rune appeared in the air, and then another, and another. Among the runes a figure materialized. A gynoid, made of dark purple metal plates, carved with runes, that continuously moved and changed, occasionally even falling from her skin and floating in the air. Her hair was a waterfall of energy that constantly changed colors, covering her head and back.

The two monsters hesitantly approached the unfamiliar figure. She didn't look like food to them, nor like something they can infect. But maybe...

"You're the ones I were looking for..." She said in a soft, echoing voice. "The creatures of D-Bug... You will be the start of my revenge."

Soundtrack: Endless Wrath

The mysterious figure raised her hand, and a heavy sword appeared in it, also covered in runes. She jabbed the sword into the ground, and pillars of pink energy bursted from the ground in a straight row, knocking the creatures back.

One of them attacked the mysterious figure with its tail. It started to stab at her, but she blocked every single hit with her sword. Then the sword disappeared, and its wielder threw a rune into the air like a shuriken. The rune was jabbed into the side of the cliff, pulling the two creatures into it. Once they were close enough, the rune exploded, Blowing them forward. Their skin was cracked, and sticky white blood dripped on the cliff, but they were still alive. They each moved to be in the gynoid's sides, and attacked with their tails at the same time...

Then, the figure ducked just as they struck. Both their heads were impaled. The gynoid approached one of the corpses. "Do you hear me, D-Bug, or XV, whatever your true name is...? I took these two from you. But I'll take more. Much more."

And she held a rune in her hand, broke it, and disappeared.
