Sketchbook page + update 🌿

Hey guys! How are you?

I've been a bit mia during this week. I'm sorry. I've been using all my energy in catching up with work and that made things complicated with my arm again. Sometimes I get carried away, thinking that I'm healed and it makes me take two steps backwards. I hate it. I feel I can draw for me as long as I want with minor pain though, but when it comes to work, that's when the pain strikes back.

I changed my set up again, I've been using my beloved Cintiq for a couple of years now and I knew these past couple of months it was making my wrist pain worse. The simple thought of drawing on the Cintiq made me nervous so I decided it was time to let it go, no point to stick with something that's not making me comfortable anymore :'( 

I went back to my old Wacom Intuos Pro -and the Cintiq as monitor now lol- hoping with all my heart this will make my work hours less stresful.

I also been super busy packing shop orders! It's funny because I've wanted to open a physical rewards tier here on Patreon and also a shop to finally sell my books/stickers for YEARS and I decided to do both during the same month pretty much at the same time and I gotta say it wasn't a brilliant idea haha I clearly subestimated how much time it requires to pack and ship everything !! (plus working on a graphic novel while recovering from an arm injury 👍) I thought I was being super careful with how much work I'm taking on and turns out I'm overworking again lol need to take a moment to breathe and reorganize myself.

I'm super thankful for doing this though, it's been a long-term dream of mine and feels great but I need to take it more slowly. 

Some upcoming projects:

✶ Craftamo brush sets are complete! Craftamo is sending me a couple of boxes so I can test them, do a unboxing video and a demo before they are available to purchase. We haven't set a date yet, but I'll let you know as soon as we do.

✶ I have the chance to create some custom enamel pins and washi tapes with a company and I want to work on a super cool pin design !! and a couple of cute washi tapes too <3 that should be a fun side project !

Again, I haven't drawn much for myself other than this sketchbook page. My bf came up with this rose gold + blue combo and I really liked it. I used screentones as well for some parts! 

Anyways, that's it for now. I've been neglecting answering emails and I have to catch up with tons of stuff.. I feel tired already.
