Supply list for the curious

Finally put a list together of the tools and supplies that keep my business up and running! Lots of requests for filaments I use in marketing photos, plus painting supplies and more. Not an affiliate of any of these companies, but since we don't have any local stores here in San Antonio that sell this stuff...Amazon to the rescue

I started adding the number of grams to file names so it's easier to tell if I have enough. But make sure to get a scale at least 1500 grams. I bought a 500g one and can't measure the spool ahead of time. Luckily I mostly use the same brand all the time so I have empty spools to compare.

defiantly i got a metal engineers one but same purpose i use mm everyday but its still impossible to know how big 76mm is gonna be physically

Yes definitely. I have several rulers and measuring tools that I use. Not sure I bought them on Amazon but I'm pretty sure I can find them and add to it. Great suggestion! And also weighing the filament to make sure you have enough for a print. I do have a scale, didn't add that either 😁

Dan

That was a September exclusive. Not available any longer as the exclusives change each month.

Something I would add is a ruler. Just a school one. I don't think in millimeters, and when I'm creating/slicing, a ruler is a quick way for me to get a good sense of exactly how big 112 mm is. I use a caliper for actually measuring, But a 99 cent school ruler I probably use more often.
