It's FriYAY!!!
I loved making this model. So much fun detailing all the bones and extras. It is mostly print-in-place due to the opening mouth... but no glue or supports needed, ever.
I Included a bone to hold in the mouth as well as a display stand. One very cool feature is that the head tilts back and locks into the first neck joint to make it look like it's roaring (might take a little practice at first) 😉
Printing tips:
- Tested 160% down to 50%. Don't forget the smaller you go, the more fragile the links get.
I provided a curved version to scale up!
- 15% infill, 3 walls, .12 layer height
The colored files are provided and I will update photos as my other prints complete. I didn't want to wait any longer to get this out :)
I found the matte PLA prints so smoothly for this model. Here is a list of filament I used above:
* OVERTURE rock pla on the dino
* ANYCUBIC Grey for the stand
* POLYMAKER muted white for the bones
