When I told my wife I wanted to put this skeleton frog on the poll she asked me "Have you seen a frog skeleton? they are UGLY"🤣
With that sentiment I knew I had to keep the fun and cute feel of my original frog.
So before anyone asks if this little guy is anatomically correct, Heeeck No...It's Art.😉
Like usual, I have an eye and a no-eye version.
Print tips and Info:
I test between 50% and 150% for functionality. BUT... I do not suggest smaller than 60% for this model. The links and footprint are tiny so detail will be lost and it could lead to failures. High quality materials and settings should be considered the smaller you go.
STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.
I print with 3 walls, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality.
Make sure you have good adhesion. I always use a glue stick
Gradient PLA works well with this model: I have a comprehensive list of Filament I use here: https://www.amazon.com/shop/flexifactory
1st photo is 150% STL in Amolen Rock PLA Yellow Feldspar
(My new favorite filament for skeletons)
2nd photo STLs are 60% baby frog in Ziro Matte Beach and 100% in Ziro Matte Rainbow Blaze
3rd photo 100% stl in Ziro Matte Tropical
4th-7th Photos are 100% 3mfs in CC3D Marble Stone and Ziro Matte Tropical and 60% Stls in Ziro matte Tropical
