I know we are barely through Halloween and Holiday decorations are already in every store! There is a ton of info to share about this model, so please read through the post for a bunch of tips :)

My wife has been begging me to make a Nutcracker for the past couple years, but I had to work on some fun new mechanisms for this one, to really make it special. I wanted to keep it Flexible, and also give it the ability to stand and make his arms posable. This holiday Exclusive will stick around through the end of December, because I have big plans for some additions!!!

The way this prints, it gives the model a 360 look, but without the use of supports, like ALL of my designs. The Nutcracker Toy Soldier has plug in features, that can be printed in a multitude of colors to easily customize.  This also allows for printing many small ones at a time, or sizing up to make it huge. It comes with a crown and hat, plus 3 accessories to hold... the sword, candy cane and lollipop.  

He easily snaps together without glue. Just note that the hair has to slide into the head from the top before you put on the hat.

Print tips and Info:

• STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.

• I print with 3 walls, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality. You might want to adjust the infill for the huge ones to make it lighter.

• As usual. make sure you have good adhesion, especially for the mini versions. I always use a glue stick

• I test printed between 40% and 200% for this design. Consider high quality materials and settings, the smaller you go.

• The hat, crown and lollipop can be printed with a layer color change to give additional options without the use of AMS.

• Files are zipped and must be extracted to use in the slicer

• Gradient PLA works well with this model: I have a comprehensive list of Filament I use here: Amazon List

• 1st photo is 200% STL Hand Painted: Amolen Matte Sand Beige, stained and painted, then sprayed with Rustoleum Clear Enamel

• Photos 2, 6, 7, 8 are STLs 40% - 125%: Colors include Cookiecad Mint Chip, Ziro Fast Change Rainbow Blaze, Amolen Yellow Feldspar rock and MORE

• 4th photo is 115% 3MF: Sunlu Red ,Black and White, eSun Beige, Amazon Gold

• 5th photo is 115% 3MF: Sunlu black and white, eSun beige. Ziro Rose and Cookiecad Mint Chip. It looks like candy!
