Added 2021-10-07 22:00:32 +0000 UTCHello! So October is here and with it the costumes, Halloween themed pics and aesthetics, etc. So this month I decided to go for a simpler look that focuses on line , to be able to play with all your spooky ideas!!!
In my sample I just added a simple Halloween detail, since it actually reflects my personality: I don't get a lot into costumes, but do enjoy the season and prefer to be discrete (as much as a nude can be) with it.
- But you guys can go crazy or be as simple as you want, so please let me know in the comments below , how would you like to be portrayed for this season! Can be a simple disguise from DnD, any movies, the common spooky themes, or can be something not related, in case you dont want to celebrate ^^
As for the artistic treatment, this month I'm relying in the lines to express the form, but will be actually trying to improve my sense of occlusion. That is; how shapes cover other shapes, and still the body is readable by the viewer. This concept is useful to create volume and the sense of depth in pictures, and correctly done, it can create the most beautiful drawings, done through simple lines, but with strong understanding of figure and its placement in a plausible 3d space.
