Sub-poll time! I have a lot of ideas here -- but take special note that some of these options CONFLICT WITH OTHER OPTIONS. These are branching paths... choosing one chapter could decide events that occur with certain characters, forever blocking different paths. Here they are, in greater detail:

1) Zhanna/Virrhia -- The murderous derro Zhanna is left by Misery to stalk and babysit Virrhia, the dangerous druid just recently released from Castle Ourrigar with an unknown purpose. Equal parts spying on the druid, keeping her in line, and showing her the world ten years after she left it, we see the bonding between these two misfits. [Conflicts with 2]

2) Zhanna/Crawlers -- With the Crawler outfit of Brii, Moja, and Nia having failed in their task to waylay the Bargesteet caravan, Misery sends her most frightening lieutenant to the Crawler hideout to teach them a lesson. [Conflicts with 1]

3) T'zere Twins/Zhanna -- Set some time in the past, this details Zhanna's role as Misery's lieutenant -- how she was uplifted from her Underdark prison by none other than Veraza and Virala T'zere as their agent on the surface.

4) Orchid/Maskki -- I'll leave this one a little surprise. For those unfamiliar with Maskki, she appears in the Home Beneath master's journey.

5) Orchid/Brii -- Having betrayed her sisters and having no place among the Crawlers, the half-elf Brii finds employment elsewhere... with a Lakeheart guild less thuggish than the Crawlers, but no less insidious. [Conflicts with 6]

6) Lisseviere/Brii -- Captain Lisseviere Morefield returns from Castle Ourrigar to the Roaring Raven, to find the delinquents there already more or less dealt with. While two of them are unrepentant and believe in their organization to free them from incarceration, one half-elf is willing to make a deal.... [Conflicts with 5]
