Pillars of Eternity sub-poll!

I gotta say, y'all surprised me. Pleasantly, of course. But it's rare that a fairly minor property can win a poll, and I'm excited to see that this one won out. I've been putting some thought into various pairings for the sub-poll, as well, and realized I definitely have enough material for a few installments if it came down to that.

Since I'm sure a lot of you haven't played this but might still wanna masturbate to it, I'm gonna be providing links to pictures of the characters. Onward!

1) Pallegina/Xoti -- These two have been at odds since day one, and I always feel like if they got mad enough at each other they just might kiss. While Pallegina (a valian paladin born of the god Hylia) rejects the notion that the gods of Eora should be worshiped at all, Xoti (pronounced "shotee," a farmgirl-turned-priestess) is a staunch devotee to Eothas and his aspect, Gaun. How long will it take for their constant arguments to turn into rough, against-the-wall sex?

2) Watcher/Maia -- This one is more meta and less applicable to anyone who might play the game. The Watcher is the (customizable) main character of the game -- in this instance, my orlan pirate Illea. The character I romanced during my main runthrough of the game was the aumaua sniper Maia Rua, and the two, as far as my headcanon goes, bonded over their love of firearms, despite their... noteworthy differences in size. For those not in the know, orlans are the smallest race in the game (around 4') and aumaua are the biggest (around 7'). Sounds like an exciting night for our two adventuring lovers.

3) Fassina/Ydwin/Mirke -- Sidekicks never get enough love. I feel like it's inevitable, when the core story companions are more powerful and interact more with the story, that the less-interactive characters will get sidelined by most players. It's a shame, though, since a lot of them are cute as hell. So the question is... what do Fassina, Ydwin, and resident nudist Mirke get up to while they're on the ship by themselves, not going on adventures but not actually helping around the boat either? With nothing but rum and the rolling waves of the Deadfire to occupy them, they're sure to get... frisky....
