Updates, Patreon stickiness, Flogging Molly concert?

So Patreon recently decided to shove a big stick up the ass of anyone creating "fringe" adult content. Fringe meaning "basically all of it."

New no-no's on the site specifically include non-con (and all possible shades of gray), bestiality, incest, and kid stuff. While the last one doesn't affect me much, the others very much do, and it could mean trouble for us here at Patreon unless things change. In addition, all NSFW content must be patron-only, though I already do this anyway so it won't be a big deal.

Now, my handicap of being a writer (as opposed to an artist) does somewhat become an advantage here, in that stories take a long time to consume and are thus harder to judge and especially to binge-judge, so the same thing that hampers my general exposure to the public may help me slide under the radar here. Nonetheless, I'm gonna try not to take chances.

Content that I consider to be firmly in the 'red zone" will simply be published on Hentai-Foundry and immediately linked here. This isn't ideal, as I realize that early access to ALL stories is one of the perks of being a patron, but... I mean, y'know. Work with me a li'l. I'm not really being given a choice in the matter -- and this is the reason I hate working with third-party layouts and websites and resisted making a Patreon account for so long. But here we are, far too late to turn back.

In happier news, I went to a concert the other night and it was fucking awesome! Saw Flogging Molly and it was an absolute dream come true -- they had two opening acts that both did full sets, the first being a country singer that was unknown to me and pretty terrible, with the second being a punk band called Radkey that I actually enjoyed a great deal. Then the actual act hit the stage and it was absolutely magnificent, they put on an amazing show, so if you like the band and ever get a chance to check them out I'd say definitely jump at that chance.
