Well, I'm getting kicked out.
The lease was monthly, unfortunately, and the landlord is giving both my roommate and I the boot, due to an issue with the pipes making him "unable to afford to have people living upstairs." I have 'til Nov. 3 to get my shit and get the fuck out.
Mentally and emotionally, I am not doing great. I'm gonna convene with my roommate and start looking for a new place at, hopefully, a similar price-point. We have a few prospects but not amazing ones, though... any port in a storm, y'know. So, in all likelihood, I'll be fine. It'll be a bunch of stress and work and hassle and moving and bullshit, but, hopefully, everything will turn out alright after the hectic month ahead.
What does this mean for the patreon?: Ideally, nothing. I still have to work, obviously, so I'll be continuing to write and post stories. I just want to let all of you guys know what's going on with me, so that if the situation worsens or takes a twist of some kind, none of you will be blindsided by the scenario as a whole.
