ROUNDABOUT by YES (ft. Caleb Hyles)

I actually really like this song and don't particularly care for JoJo. I remember hearing Roundabout a lot in my youth cuz my dad was always listening to classic prog rock bands and stuff - Yes, King Crimson, Mahavishnu, etc
Anyway, this cover was so damn fun. That bassline is surprisingly a lot easier than it sounds to play, and is really fun to jam on. Caleb predictably hammed it up pretty hard on this which I think kinda sets a nice contrast for the video, which is pretty moody in comparison. The result strikes me as this somewhat over-the-top stylish video about people in a warehouse acting like idiots. It's fun stuff :)
Also, I got to sing again. Caleb only agreed to sing on this cover if I'd provide the backing harmonies; I also FINALLY had an excuse to play my acoustic again.
jeez.
