November plans. And a very rambly thank you.

Happy Halloween! I hope you are all doing well.

The holiday season is fast approaching and I've decided on several changes and upcoming rewards.

The truth is that I owe a lot to everyone who has been supporting me and I'd like to demonstrate that.

THE PLAN :

- There will be another OC group pose in December. This is a very early heads-up for those that are interested! You'll need to be on one of the top two tiers during the specified month.

- All remaining OC expression rewards will be completed before the end of November. This is basically just to prove that I haven't forgotten and to give myself a loose deadline. 

- Before the end of the year I will be doing a giveaway on twitter. This is not patreon exclusive but I'm mentioning it here for posterity. If I don't type it out somewhere, I might not commit to it. It's time to hold me accountable 🔪🔪

- After much delay, Design Commissions will finally open in mid-November. As always, patrons have priority access to these slots!

- Patreon tiers will soon be re-worked to offer a better reward structure. The details on this are not solid yet but I'll have more information on it before any real changes are made so there WILL be room for feedback. 

You will not lose access to anything that you have been offered previously but I will be decluttering the rewards that are no longer relevant (adoptables, for example)

It's always been difficult to figure out how to reward my patrons. This is due to how much you have done to keep me treading water after leaving my data entry position earlier this year.

I've often debated how honest I should be about my financial situation but for full transparency ; things are a little bit precarious at the moment but not dire. 

The income from patreon + commissions have allowed me to get by without too much bleed from my emergency savings. I cannot stress enough how thankful I am to have gotten this far. It's far beyond my initial expectations and so much more than I ever could have hoped for.

To be able to draw every day has remained my dream for many years and is the one constant driving force in my life! I love drawing and I hope to continue as long as possible. I am so lucky to be where I am, I should really appreciate it more.

Even when my work is not at its best and my creative output falters, it is endlessly comforting to know that there are people who are still invested in my work and my success throughout all of it. 

I see your kind words and your messages and even if I don't always know what to say, it is never unwelcome and it always means a lot. I hope, more than anything, to make you proud. 

However, if I expect to retain your trust and properly compensate you, I will need to make some changes. That's what this is all about.

Improvements will come in the form of the commitments written at the top of this post and more, hopefully, to follow in the new year.

For now, it'll mostly consist of pushing commissions, playing with a few promotional ideas and re-working the tiers on patreon to make them more rewarding for you.
