We gave R2 a real voice

2017-02-21 01:51:53 +0000 UTCI'm sure originally R2 and Chewie were both intended to have lines, but I don't know that I've ever read or seen an interview where they discussed how or why the decided to make two major characters unintelligible. Not only unintelligible, but then to have another main character constantly explaining their indecipherable 'dialog.' Like at some point, Anthony Daniels had to say, "wait, you want me to do all of my lines, and then all of the other guy's lines now too but instead i'm explaining that he really said something that he didn't? Oooooookaayyyy...."

I mean, it's really really really weird that they did something recently that we've been planning to do for months. Kind of don't know how to feel about this.

2017-02-20 22:39:45 +0000 UTCApparenlty the first 48 hours a video is posted on Youtube have a huge impact on its overall performance, and making it unlisted for the first 24 has played havoc with the algorithm. Frozen view counts, disappearing from search results, and in some cases the loss of thousands of views. We don't pretend to understand it, but Vimeo is an excellent alternative. Also, did you catch it this time?
