Hey everyone!
We hope everyone is staying healthy out there and maybe starting to experience the old world a little bit more each day. We're both fully vaxxed, but even then it's been a slow transition to feeling okay taking our masks off and being around other people without anxiety sliding in for a surprise guest appearance.
Anyway, it says Ep. 7 updates in the title so let's get on with it. We're making serious progress on the episode, so much that we we're planning on dropping a trailer for it sometime next week. We're always careful about ruining any jokes or surprises, so the trailer will be more of a way to spread the word and get people hyped, but you will hopefully be entertained none the less.
Finally, we are super excited to share this fan film with you. Jason Sherry runs a spring acting workshop for high school students, and when it came time to pick a project, he decided to recreate Existential Troopers. The lengths he and the students went to recreate the scene are incredible. They enlisted the help of some engineering students to 3D print the bike scout armor. Jason formed a close and personal relationship with hot glue and Velcro. They brought in a tech person to build full scale speeder bikes. Everything is so above and beyond. What they produced adds so much to the scene. By breaking free of the 45 seconds of looped footage, they were able to breathe new life into the characters in a way we didn't even consider. So please give the video a look! There's some great BTS material after the credits as well. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Love,
Craven + Zak
