Earlier on in the series Kenny described Matsuda as the “squeaky wheel” of the group… In a show with extremely intelligent, cunning or serious characters like Light and L, what do you think of having a more naive, soft and pure-hearted character like Matsuda in the same group? Do you think his obliviousness is too much of a hindrance on the group or do you think they can use his devotion to their advantage?

In the past we have seen him actually protest against taking action when Kira2 was killing the police at Sakura TV. Do you think L is beginning to become friends with the team?
