Tales of Zale - Shot Breakdown #1

Following the first week of actual production I thought I would share with you a breakdown of the shot I've been working most on. It's pretty exciting to be back at it, after confining myself to storyboards and character designs for quite a while.
There are still some fix-ups I will need to take care of in certain scenes of the animatic, but while I think about the right solution for those I can indulge in some vertical slices. In this case it was important for me to figure out how I was gonna do some of the longer layouts!
I'm hoping to soon do the next Patreon Art Book PDF. Anne, who's coming in to assist and finish the ToZ poster she's been working on, unfortunately had to delay her arrival till Monday next week. But once she's done with that I think would be a good time to put out a new PDF!

I implemented an animated background for the long fall, similarly to how I made the moving tree tops in this shot. Might do a small shot breakdown of that as well at some point, these long layouts are interesting to work with!
