Yeah, the ex couples are not very strong for us right now, and we typically root for new couples anyway hahaha. I do feel like there’s a chance that MinKyung and YooSik get back together just because they’ve been together for almost 8 years, and they broke up recently before the show. So we’ll see…

She moved to Seoul alone as a high schooler, got into a highly competitive high school, and later a university just as difficult. In high school, she was known as a “model student”—teachers told others to follow her example because she always gave her best and treated everyone kindly. Even the grade below knew her reputation. But Wongyu said she “didn’t try her best” and “needs to only study, eat, sleep,” ignoring that she had no environment in Seoul to simply “study” like he could. Even if he didn’t mean to pressure her, breaking someone’s self-esteem at their lowest is cruel. And not everyone can be happy all the time, yet he broke up with her over TEXT, saying she “wasn’t the happy Jihyun anymore.” Plus she was only 25 when she didn't have a job(which is normal in Korea, Wonhyu was 31 so of course he has a stable job). Even if he didn't mean it on purpose, talking about his friend's wife and how her family opened clinics for his friend MULTIPLE TIMES to a 25 yr old unemployed fiancee who went through so much in her life and never went down IS SOO inconsiderate and he couldn’t even wait a few months to get a job. He kept comparing her to his friend's wife that's why he said there might be a better person than her because he hates "unstablility". He dumped her and made her feel unsafe and unsupported during one of the hardest moments of her life—if he could do that once, he can do it again. All the korean want Jihyun to be happy(not w Wongyu)

It’s frustrating because he seems to actually care about his ex, but he keeps misreading/mistiming everything because of his inability to multitask, so she’s getting really hurt in the process, and I feel really bad for her. I hope something might happen between her and one of the other guys for now, BaekHyun looks happier with YunNyeong for now
