Upgraded Standing Desk Setup

Back when i did the ergonomic fundraiser a while ago, i was able to upgrade my setup to include a standing desk, anti fatigue shoes, etc. I also had purchased a monitor arm only to realize that my primary desk was not fit to sport one due to the way it was constructed (not a big enough lip in the back for the arm to attach.) I was going to sell the monitor arm to a friend and get something else but due to distance, the transaction just hadn't happened. However, as of late, I had been feeling a lot of neck strain at my standing desk due to still having to look down to see the tablet.

The last item that was on my list to get for that fundraiser was a new chair. I haven't been able to find one that fits my primary desk (not the standing desk) due to it being a "corner" desk and the area where the chair can fit is rather narrow. None of the newer chairs these days can fit as the arm rests are too wide (and wont adjust inward enough) and would make me have to sit even farther away from the desk while seated which just wont due. I have short arms as is, I already have a hard time using my keyboard if i have to push it back to make space for other items on my desk for a project.

SO, after this long trying to get a new chair and not finding anything, I've moved my focus to utilize my standing desk better and more, so I've instead purchased a new monitor (and a new adapter because my other one was not HDMI 2.0 and wouldn't connect to monitors, only TVs) and set it up with the arm so that i can now look up while drawing more at my standing desk. It will help with a myriad of other small issues as well.

I'm excited to use my standing desk more and have less neck strain!!!

Thank you to those who helped with that fundraiser (and for folks helping me track down the issue with my adapter over on discord yesterday.) I know it was a long time ago but i didn't realize how hard it would be to find a chair small enough to fit my height and my desk. So I'll just make due with the one i have with whatever alterations i need to make and focus more on using my standing desk when I'm able. :)
