2022-08-17 00:59:56 +0000 UTCnot one of the BEST songs on the album but i still really like it. i think what makes it cheesy is probably the voicemail at the end, because the lyrics weren’t really cheesy. the lyrics are just kind of basic but i think thats what makes me like the song, it feels to me as if he doesn’t have to explain their relationship to anyone, hes just saying what it is, and i do have a bestfriend like this so very relatable and sweet.

I listen to this album way too many times to count and having an upbeat happy song in such a depressing (but amazing) album is truly needed, and i like the idea of artists writing about their friends, it doesn't happen really often imo

2022-08-16 18:42:31 +0000 UTCDefinitely widely agreed to be the least favorite on the album, it’s grown on me since my first listen and I think it’s super fun and I love the message! Just in comparison it’s not as strong as the rest. Really sweet song for his best friend though, he writes about her a lot.
