2022-08-18 15:27:51 +0000 UTCConan is a VERY big Taylor fan so I would not put it past him that he got inspiration from that lyric, but he also used a lot of literature references in this song so I’m not sure! Also, in the official lyric video this is being “written” right after Disaster, so it’s interesting that after he freaked out about the “critical chapter” of saying he has feelings for this person, this is how it goes. Maybe that’s why it was his breaking point when it comes to love
