Q&A There are some polarizing kinks in the skill tree, do you plan to fully execute them?

Short answer: yes, all skills in the skill tree will be used before the end of the game. There isn’t any kind of “false advertising”.

Longer answer: Okay, this is  a complicated question with several layers.

While all skills will be used, the 3rd level skills will only be used at later stages of the game. This is important for game mechanical reasons (players need to gather enough points to afford the skills), and for story reasons (there needs to be some sort of “kink progression” where the characters keep exploring their kinks going from the vanilla skills to the hardcore skills).

This also means that there will be way more scenes requiring vanilla and intermediate skills, than scenes requiring hardcore skills.

Another layer of this question is what do the skills really mean. I had to pick 1 word to represent a kink and 1 sentence to explain it in the “Descriptions”. This, of course, is very limiting. To make things worse, some of these names have certain connotations associated with them from other adult games. The thing to keep in mind is that all the scenes will be portrayed in a more realistic manner than they are in this medium. Expect to see these kinky scenes play out in a similar way as they would happen in real life, as opposed to as you have seen them in some more unrealistic game.

For example, don’t expect some kind of “trainer game scene” behind the “Own her” skill, but rather a kind of “Total Power Exchange” dynamic. Or, don't expect the “Free use” skill to mean there will be scenes in the middle of the city because you’re in a free use relationship and can do whatver you want whenever you want it. These scenes still need to play with a certain realism that you expect from this game.

Also, is important to not forget that, in these kind of kinks, anything that happens, only happens if the submissive partner consents to it.

What if I don’t like a certain kink?

Everything will be optional and locked behind skills. You already know how that works. But, besides that, a particular scene may also have several choices that the player can take to make it more vanilla or hardcore. Some examples of this already happened in chapter 3. I try my best to not show anyone a kink they don’t want to see. But also to make the choices obvious so that you don’t miss the content you actually want. 

What if I like girl x but not one of her kinks?

There is a level of degree for “negotiation” with each girl. As often as possible, there will be options to skip scenes you don’t like while not rejecting her. And also options to only do the more vanilla parts and not go into the more hardcore parts unless you want to.

But there will also be certain kinks that each girl needs to be happy in a relationship. Think about Deb story on chapter 2: she’s having problems with her partner because she likes submissive partners, but he doesn’t feel comfortable in that role. It wouldn’t make much sense for her to break up with him and then start a relationship with a player that is also not submissive.

So, even though you can have some scenes with a girl whose kinks you don’t like (like in chapter 2 a non-submissive player could still have a scene with Deb), don’t expect these paths to be very long or lead to a “happy ever after” ending.

I know this is very generic for now, but next week, when we talk about each girl in particular, we’ll discuss this in more detail.

Final note:

The last thing I want to mention is that what is “hardcore” for me, might be “another Tuesday” for you, especially when it comes to such a big range of kinks from maledom to femdom. I’m happy that both everyone thinks I’m doing a good job so far showing their kinks, but it might come a time where I feel more uncomfortable with some more hardcore kinks and you might think I haven’t gone far enough. I’m thinking more about the sadism/masochism and humiliation kinks here. I think is inevitable that someone will end up disappointed at some point, so I’m trying to curb your expectations a bit.
