Added 2024-08-12 23:02:04 +0000 UTCATTENTION EVERYONE! It has just now come to my attention that Apple will, starting in November of this year be jacking up the prices on Patreon. If you use there IOS or App for Patreon they will be taking anywhere from $2.41 to $5.50 if you use the App. And they expect us creators on Patreon to either raise our rates to accommodate their greed or foot the bill ourselves.

2024-08-13 00:40:30 +0000 UTCFrom the announcement: Apple’s fee will not impact your existing members. It will only affect new memberships purchased in the iOS app from November onward. So it only affects new members, but I would still get off the Apple app store for memberships.

2024-08-12 23:29:20 +0000 UTCThe solution is to cut them out of the subscription process. I always go to the site that offers the service and make the subscription there. If anyone is paying for their membership through the app, they need to cancel there and then come directly to the site here and manage the subscription.
