On October 6th, just over a week ago, they were at 1,800+ for this one, so they really saved this show from looking bad. Make no mistake about it; the difference-maker was the $10 & $20 tickets. Fans were willing to go but for the right price. It is a risky precedent to set. Will the fans who bought these tickets be willing to go the next time they come back at full price, or will they expect the same deal? How about the fans who paid full price and saw these prices drop (I've seen more and more of those send me replies on X)? Will they wait the next time around, knowing a really good ticket offer could eventually come? It's one thing to sell $20 tickets, but I can't imagine $10 tickets do much at all for their bottom line, and making money at these venues is still a significant revenue source for them. Perception is important, which makes for an interesting debate: sell 2,000+ at full price (but look bad on camera and affect the opinion of those in attendance) or sell almost double that and settle for just trying to break even (but look and sound good on TV)? Easy for me to say, but I've been consistent with this all along; I'd go with the latter. I'd just price things lower from the start. If things heat back up again, you can always slowly raise prices. Fans are smart; they are catching on to the ticket deals becoming more common.

It was a fun show overall with an awesome main event. People definitely left happy.

I heard someone at the event say they heard the show being promoted on the radio in a near by city in Michigan.
