For the record, the stuff I draw now is not AS explicit; i like drawing scenarios or interactions more than smut in the foreground of a solid-color void. Characters are covered and no fluids are exchanged- but it is still implied, and it is still fetish content. Although the patreon is marked 18+, I wasn't originally posting this, and I want to respect my audience. I also may want to consider drawbacks of.
I could make a separate tier for it, but I don't draw it often enough to post consistently alongside my main projects. I also don't want it to be my primary legacy nor have giant red arrows pointing to my repression.
Third option is either on FA or private twitter account. Although I feel weird having an audience curated for fetish content, and idk how I feel about my FA account other than it's cringe. But my art has improved, so I'm neutral to posting- I just feel more comfortable behind a paywall.
Final option is not at all. Wtf kind of narcissist thinks others want to see your sick fantasies? Gross. For someone who's insecure about their online presence, you'd think they'd be wiser!
But no jk, I think all art has meaning esp if it is conveying certain emotion. I'd rather just be nonchalant about posting it and have a lowkey presence. Not secretive but not indecent, either.

Ik I’m like a year late and this is likely way past relevant but I was scrolling through art and saw what you said about this whole topic and it’s one I’m passionate about sorta. I’ve always preached that art is art no matter how gross or uncomfortable it may be for some, and that’s okay but art has meaning and passion behind it. Unfortunately we live in a world that may not completely understand so we get unforeseen penalties to creative freedom and again it’s understandable but also unfair. It’s a complex thing but ya know as people we decide what’s best for ourselves and honestly much respect for the self awareness coming from someone else who struggles with how people perceive their art.
