NJPW Strong announces next big show in the US (password included for pre-sale)
Added 2024-01-05 20:20:40 +0000 UTCDuring New Year's Dash, NJPW's special video presentation unveiled details about their next major event in the US for the NJPW Strong brand, Windy City Riot, scheduled for Friday, April 12th. Notably, the event will be hosted at Wintrust Arena, a larger venue compared to recent locations in the United States for the company. Wintrust Arena has been previously used by AEW six times, with their debut at the venue on February 29, 2020, drawing an estimated 7,000+ tickets distributed for AEW Revolution.
The last NJPW STRONG show in Illinois took place on April 16th, 2022, at the Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park. The event featured a headline match between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay, achieving a sellout with 2,277 attendees, according to NJPW's website (Wrestling Observer newsletter reported 2,500 tickets distributed).
A special VENUE PRESALE is set for January 11 at 10 AM Central Time, preceding the general on-sale starting January 12 at 10 AM, with tickets starting at just $24. The pricing structure is as follows (from NJPW's website):
- Stand B: $29
- Stand A: $39
- Arena C: $69
- Arena B: $79
- Arena A: $119
- Ringside B: $199
- Ringside A: $299.
