NJPW adds more tickets for Windy City Riot (and quickly sells out)
Added 2024-01-23 19:36:02 +0000 UTCThose didn't last long. 🚨9 TICKETS REMAIN🚨
NJPW added more tickets for their Windy City Riot show at the Wintrust Arena, and most have sold out already. The best part for fans wanting to attend? Many of the newly added seats are priced at just $19. I'm thrilled to see that as the get-in price, especially for good-quality seats in the 100-level sections. It's almost unheard of nowadays, but I strongly believe there is room for a promotion to adopt this approach and attract larger numbers of fans (I also acknowledge it shouldn't be done for major shows where you'd be costing yourself money). Brokers complicate the matter, but it can be done for everyone not named WWE (which is not going back and is only increasing prices).
It seems they've opened up the remaining rows in the lower bowl (not yet the upper deck), bringing the total distributed tickets to 4,500 so far. It is definitely time to open up the upper decks. I'm curious what they will price those at.

And sound really quiet at points. Doesn't come across well on TV
