I have thought the same in the past. I haven't been to a wwe show in quite a while but they used to advertise a big dark match main event for tv tapings. As you said maybe this would be good for aew sales especially in smaller markets

2024-01-29 23:18:00 +0000 UTCIt's pretty clear that this episode is not going to have any big marque match (holding those for Phoenix). So this is an example of where a big dark/non televised match could help push tickets. Joe v. HOOK would have made the most sense.
