15 new WWE dates announced (with one other note)
Added 2024-07-13 10:02:22 +0000 UTCWWE announced 15 new dates to their calendar, all of which go on sale to the public on July 26th. Pre-sale information will be provided soon. This latest announcement does not include any house shows which is the most interesting part to me. They have several gaps to fill on the schedule though so it's very possible they announce some house shows at another time. I do wonder if they will continue to phase out some markets for house shows. They will undoubtedly still do the Holiday house shows in their biggest markets around Christmas as those have been profitable. More details to come.

2024-07-14 13:34:46 +0000 UTCDetroit really got robbed again. Looks like just 1 show for us this year unless we get another Xmas week house show which would be lame. HOPING that Detroit lands the first Netflix Raw, that would make up for 2024.

2024-07-13 11:30:08 +0000 UTCThere are definite pros (younger talent getting reps, cultivating your fan base in smaller towns) but I've had talent reach out explaining some of the negatives like injury risk, burn out, etc. From TKO's perspective, even if the numbers are decent, they're still not making big bucks for a show with reasonable prices. With international travel becoming more common, it also makes it harder on talent to bounce around from those small towns.
