AEW announces Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX for next year's All In

August 15, 2024 – Arlington Mayor Jim Ross, the Texas Rangers, REV Entertainment, Arlington Sports Commission and All Elite Wrestling today announced that Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX will host AEW: All In Texas on Saturday, July 12, 2025.  The event will air live around the world on pay-per-view and marks the first time an AEW pay-per-view event has ever been held in Texas.  It will also be the first-ever professional wrestling event ever held at Globe Life Field.

“On behalf of everyone at AEW, we are ecstatic to bring AEW: All In Texas to Globe Life Field in Arlington on July 12, 2025,” said Tony Khan.  “AEW: All in Texas will make history as both our first-ever pay-per-view in Texas as well as AEW’s American stadium debut, building on the rich legacy of stadium wrestling events held in the US, particularly in the Lone Star State.”

“We are thrilled for Arlington to partner with All Elite Wrestling for their biggest event of 2025,” said Arlington Mayor Jim Ross.  “Fans from around the world will converge on our beautiful city to be part of AEW: All In Texas, delivering a significant economic windfall to the region.”

AEW: All In Texas marks a huge milestone in Arlington’s continued relationship with All Elite Wrestling,” said Arlington Sports Commission Executive Director Matt Wilson. “We thank Tony Khan and the entire team at AEW for all of their support to our city and look forward to an event that fans in attendance and watching at home will never forget.”

"Bringing the first professional wrestling event to Globe Life Field is a historic moment for our venue," said Sean Decker, President of REV Entertainment, the exclusive events partner of the Texas Rangers. "We can't wait to partner with AEW to host thousands of passionate wrestling fans at our world-class venue next summer."

Thoughts: They decided to skip a year at Wembley Stadium (Tony Khan mentioned at the press conference that they would be back in 2026) for All In, which is the right move for now. At this time, I am skeptical about an AEW stadium show in the States, but I agree with the idea because they are probably getting a deal from Arlington, and it's the right size venue for their big show. This will be their first pay-per-view in Texas, something they've been saving for. For the most part, Texas has been good to them, producing some of their loudest crowds.

I've long felt that baseball fields and domes should be utilized more by WWE or AEW under the right circumstances. To give you an idea of potential capacity, an upcoming Green Day concert at this venue has a setup for 37,567. Pink has a slightly larger setup, closer to 40,000, for one of her concerts at the same venue. It will all depend on the type of stage AEW chooses to use.

Kosha Irby is getting praised for this move because it has been in the works for months and likely ties into the Collision/ROH Arlington residency. I will be very curious to see how the pre-sale and public on-sale go for this event. I also like that they are moving it to July. They really need to shuffle the deck with these events and find the right order (as many of you have mentioned about the timing of this year's All In, All Out and Grand Slam). There's much more to say about this, but I want to learn more before making further comments. Filling this park will not be easy; they will really need a strong local presence, which means stepping up their advertising significantly when the time comes. Today was a good start, having some of their key talent on hand for the announcement.

Let me know your thoughts on the announcement.

I will be there. No matter what.

All In should be in a different location each year plenty of big markets around the world they could choose.

I plan on going this this ppv. I live in Oklahoma.

Coach Acosta

I’m planning to travel with my brother from Puerto Rico to Texas. It would be our first ever AEW show.

Sounds like the plan is to bring All In back to London in 2026: https://www.fightful.com/wrestling/tony-khan-says-aew-all-2026-will-be-back-london

Right up there with Nintendo hiring an executive with the last name "Bowser" lol

I think this is a fantastic idea. I was kind of hoping they would do DON in Texas but this is a huge deal. I wonder if they are done having All In at Wembley or if they are just taking a one-year break. If the capacity is only 40k or so I think this will sell well considering the location. AEW shows in Texas, including the Arlington residency, have been successful for the company. It does make me wonder where the 2025 DON show will be considering they probably don't want to have it in Vegas next year due to Wrestlemania being there in April.

“Arlington Mayor Jim Ross”, didn’t know he took up another profession on the side

Dave says in today's WON that it'll likely be set up for 35,000.

This building is the perfect size for the risk. It'll probably be around 40k capacity, if it bombs and draws like 15-20k it wouldn't even look that bad, there's ways to hide it. I don't think it'll bomb, I think the novelty of all North American AEW fans going to one show a year will work...the first time. I'm from Ontario, Canada and very likely will go to this. I think this will get VERY close to a sellout especially if they control ticket prices. Price it like the last few PPVs and a lot of the tickets will fly right away. Also, this is the first PPV in texas, so everyone in Texas which is a good area for AEW will want to come also AEW's residency in Arlington was really well done and fun and created some good will in the area. Also, the CMLL talent can come over and you can get some Mexican fan walkups. I think considering all these things, this will do very well.

Baseball stadiums are smaller than football stadiums, so they aren’t used too often. WWE ran WM 19 at Safeco Field (where the Mariners play) back in 2003. The only time I can recall WCW running a stadium was a couple of Nitros back in 1998 and 1999. Edit. WWE ran the Royal Rumble recently at Tropicana Field and Chase Field.

Need to tell everyone, indirectly or even directly, that this is where they’ll get Omega Okada, Swerve Hangman etc. This year is better but they still don’t put it over as a Mania show

When is the last time a major wrestling event happened in a baseball stadium? Off the top of my head I can't remember the WWE or WCW doing it.

I hope the size of the event and venue is a hook in itself. They need to drive home that All In is their Wrestlemania. They've done a better job this year at making it feel like a culmination of some pretty big feuds but need to do it even better next year. A strong crowd and I would be excited to see what they can do with All In
