🗒️ | Swerve Strickland vs. Shelton Benjamin was announced for this show. It looks like they removed some rows, as there are still plenty of camera-visible seats currently available that they'd like to sell first. A bunch of floor seats sold since the last update and were relisted as resale (there has definitely been more and more resale activity on AEW maps lately).

Lol literally nobody thinks this is LeBron’s last game in Cleveland.

DC

They seem to have removed even more rows for this, I like they are promoting these shows on TV and announcing stuff for them but next step is doing on-ground promotion and advertising. Flyers, posters, media, ads & everything in between.

Correct! There isn’t a draw in AEW that makes people buy tickets to see them.. at this point only the diehards are buying tickets to see AEW, unlike in WWE where people are buying tickets to see Roman, Cody, Rhea, Jey Uso, Gunther, Becky Lynch, Seth.. etc etc..

Announcing matches is great and all but let's not act like Shelton Benjamin is somebody anyone is going to pay to see. You're going to this because you like rhe product not because Swerve is wrestling Shelton Benjamin. Announcing any kind or match isn't going to sell tickets. And as others have pointed out I don't understand how resellers make any money. Any time I look at a map with resell tickets the blue dots next to the red dots are always 50-200% cheaper. Literally. There are resell tickets on the Utah map for $300 and you can buy the same ticket for $48

If they could sell 3k for this I reckon it would be okay, anything less and Meh

It's surprising AEW has a resale market at all outside of PPVs right now. There doesn't seem to be much profit in it for scalpers.

I am curious how well the resale tickets go. They buy them up then raise the price which in my day was scalping. Baffles me how it's perfectly OK. In this case, I wonder if it works.

Josh Henne

Especially when it could possibly be Lebron’s last ever game in Cleveland..

Bold move running Dynamite against a Cavs home game when LeBron & the Lakers are in town..

CRhodes

I like they've gone back to announcing matches in advance, hopefully this moves tickets at a higher rate. I hate going to shows where I don't know what's happening unless they've made that part of the gimmick on purpose (like the old PWG Mystery Vortex shows).
