i just spent 7 hours today learning about meta mask and sending some crypto to a couple exchanges through it. For about half the day I'd thought I lost my transfers. It's important to learn about the different networks and make sure you're using the right one. I connected Metamask to Binance and luckily they have a help article that gives you exactly the right info.
