Tether is a cryptocurrency with tokens issued by Tether Limited, which in turn is controlled by the owners of Bitfinex. Tether is called a stablecoin because it was originally designed to always be worth $1.00, maintaining $1.00 in reserves for each tether issued. From Wiki.

Hi CV, follow @Bitfinexed on Twitter. He has been saying that Bitcoin prices have been pumped up by Tether. Although I believe in cryptos, I feel that Tether could severely bring down cryptos. I need to know how to sell my cryptos and where should I hold them if I don't want to get into fiat.
