It means that I'm going to create a new tier for 11 dollars where his animations also going to be available, or should he start a separate one with similar pricing to mine? Which is 6 dollars/month just like in my case.

It depends of how much of a friend he is… if you think that your collaboration will last long go ahead with a new tier, but in business I believe it’s always better to differentiate thing.
