- Mastery of the proposal writing and management process; proactive problem solving that builds client confidence in the ability to write, and win, RFP responses.
- Collaborates with RWCO clients and client SMEs to develop proposal sections that clearly articulate the overall solution and strategy, approach to performing the work, win themes, and discriminators.
- Applies interpersonal and interviewing skills to gather needed information from client/client SME and other professionals to support writing activities.
- Researches and collaborates with client personnel, client team members, and other stakeholders on the most effective way to present proposed approaches and solutions and substantiate any claims.
- Identifies resolves, mitigates, and escalates gaps and risks to proposal management and operations leadership.
- Writes clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections; translates technical and other ideas into easily understandable text; rewrites and reviews proposal sections and related proposal documents.
- Develops and implements process improvements to help improve proposal quality.
- May serve as the single resource for proposal activities for a given client engagement, therefore time management skills and project management capabilities are critical.
- Preferred capability : subject matter proficiency or expertise in information technology, telecommunications, cyber security, engineering or other technical subject area.
