Content Marketing / SEO Writers wanted for marketing agency | $100-$300 per article

We're looking for freelance writers to join our fast-growing content  marketing agency! We're recruiting for help on a larger project we've  got coming up, but we manage a lot of projects continuously – this will  be ongoing work!

Here are a few of the main things we're looking for (this should help you figure out whether the job is a good fit for you:

• Someone with experience or at least a general knowledge of content  marketing and SEO (having past history working in these spaces is great!
• Someone who's a full-time freelancer/professional writer – if you  write in your spare time or you're just trying to build your portfolio,  this job isn't for you; we're looking for experienced freelancers who  are familiar with this process and are able to commit and communicate on  a regular, day-to-day basis
• If you have experience with link building outreach, that is a huge  plus. Connections with (or having previously written for) large  publications like WaPo, NYT, Huffington Post, TechCrunch, etc. is all  huge – this isn't required, but please mention it in your application if  this bit applies to you.

THESE ARE THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES YOU'LL BE WORKING ON:

• Creation of well-structured pieces of content with minimal supervision
• Adapting to different brand voices and being able to research and have a good understanding of the niche
• Communication via Slack and Trello
• Sourcing photos for articles
• Potentially partnering on the content roadmap creation process
• Optional: If you have experience/connections, link building will be a part of this position as well

Something else that's important to note is availability.  Currently, you'd be writing between 3 and 7 blog posts per month (on  average). That can change, but right now that's what we're looking for.

Pay rates:

We're  offering between $100 and $300 per article, depending on the  type/length of article and your experience. We write a few different  types of articles, so pay is different for each. When it comes to link  building and content roadmap creation, we'd like to negotiate that  hourly (between $30 to 65 based on experience), but we can work together  on that!
