Dear writers, illustrators and photographers,
Weβre a new city discovery app that helps people find where they want to be in the city, surfaced by their vibes and interests. And weβre looking for bold, inclusive and unique stories about places that bring us together in magical and unexpected ways.
We are commissioning your words, photos, illustrations and short videos that capture the vibe of a launch city: Oakland, San Francisco, Guadalajara, Vancouver, Seattle and Portland. Be creative, ask yourself--what makes a city vibrant? Where do people come together? Who are the people and places we need to hear about right now ?
Weβre especially interested in profiles of the people who contribute to city culture, like:
- a new experimental chef.
- the organizer of an annual celebration of underground artists.
- a local leader that everyone should know about.
Send us your profile, illustration or photo ideas. The team will review and notify selected story and image makers about which ones will be contracted for publication on our app, website and promotions.
Or if youβre ready to offer up a short narrative about a place in one of the cityβs mentioned above where something **magical** happened to you, please fill out the Google form located in the call for submissions.
