Pop culture pitches from writers of color wanted | $750 per piece up to $1 per word

I'm still taking pop-culture driven pitches from critics of color. I am looking for pieces that use culture as a lens to thoughtfully examine something greater. Hectic times, but would love to hear from folks who are feeling up to it.
I can't take every pitch, of course, and as things do get a little more hectic I'd ask for a bit of understanding on email response time. But I'm still excited to hear from folks.
We currently pay $750 per piece.
