We are looking for experienced freelance reporters and writers around the state who know how to tell a great story and like to dig for information, causes of problems, historic context and solutions. If this is you, please send links to your 3 best stories.
The startup freelance rate is about 10 cents a word. We may pay more for certain pieces. We’re looking for writers who live in Mississippi or who have knowledge of it. Our stories are Mississippi-focused.
