I have a freelance budget for the time being. Pitch me on anything young people interested in politics would be into. Specifically: history-related pieces, op-eds, profiles of interesting candidates, explainers, stuff on youth activism/immigration/climate change/education/voting rights, just cool shit you've heard about and think might be a fit. May take a few days to get back to you, but will try to respond to every email I get.
PAYMENT: Our rates vary depending on the type and length of story, the writer's experience, etc. They go from $150 for a quick hit on the daily news or an op-ed (can be higher depending) to $300-$350 for reported or historical pieces and up to $400 for stories that involve a lot of research and/or that we know will traffic well.
