Pitches wanted (reported / true stories) | $1 to $2 per word

We don't publish very many stories a year, but if you've got an incredible, cinematic, longform reported story you've been dying to tell, please shoot me a pitch. I'd love to be able to commission something if I can.

My one request: Please no fiction (we do true stories only) and no screenplays (unfortunately, not my wheelhouse so I would have no idea what to do with them).
Rates depend on length/amount of reporting involved, but we're generally in the $1-2/word range. Most (if not all?) of our stories tend to be at least 5-6k words.
